TUNE OF THE MONTH

I turned on my laptop on 6/14/10 and received a message that windows 7 was setting a temp. virtual memory and opened the Performance Options window. I set up the virtual memory saved it, applyed it, and restarted my computer. When it restarted, I received the same message. I have tried at least a half dozen times and still nothing. I have tried custome as well as letting the computer manage the vm. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i am stuck with laptop call advent 4213...it is xp

cant open window bec it is bootmrg is compressed blab blab.

i though i have xp cd in green book which bought it last year with brand new laptop...until yesterday i am look for cd and relise there no window xp cd there so i read book...oh too late bec they say when i got new laptop and must have usb pen to save window Operating Systems..but too late bec window already inside the harddrive...mean i havent got one cd....i been try download bootmrg and it is not working...i try safemode and cannot open the window at alol....
do anyone can point me go to somewhere that i can download into my usb pen..then put laptop ...have u any other way bec my laptop have no cd drive or dvd drive...only usb or sd card either.

I want to flash BIOS of Thinpad T400. I got this laptop a year before and now I am facing blue screen issue on my system. My laptop is also not detecting my external usb drive. Sometime the system gets hang on bios sometime and a force reboot fix the same. I think flashing BIOS can fix the matter which read on some forum. How to do that and how to deal with this regular Blue Screen.

I am using a Dell mini v10 laptop. The difficulty is through the VGA. When you switch on the laptop it show however straight away after the boot display (uses Win XP Pro w/SP2), the show goes off. This type of trouble also take place on my desktop through my nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (128MB) however I for eternity resolve the issue by starting in save mode and uninstalling the video driver. After that, I will restart the in normal mode and after that reinstall the video driver and the whole thing will be alright. I have completed that for this Dell laptop however that didn’t solve its trouble. I have also moved out to the Dell support website and also I have downloaded the newest driver for the video hardware. And then I have also installed this driver on the computer nevertheless that still didn’t resolve the difficulty. I also observe that at whatever time a projector is linked to the laptop, it shows from the projector without any troubles. Help me to solve my problem.

I am having the problem with the laptop of mine i.e. Lenovo T61P on which i have installed the Windows 7 and not getting work with the VGA driver. Every time restart my computer that time i am getting Windows freeze. The problem started after the installation of the Windows. So is it because of the Windows 7 not showing compatibility with the Intel 965 Express. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am having the Lenovo IdeaCentre K210 desktop and the issue which i am facing is that this Lenovo IdeaCentre K210 desktop is not detecting the Hard drive connected to it. Because of this i am not able to start the computer system. Every time i am starting the system then error shows that boot device not found. I am waiting for the reply to solve this issue from you people.

Hi,
I have 2 hard disks installed on my desktop. when i try to select one of the hard disks by (from the f12 pre startup menu) i get a screen which says "No possible BIOS file found".

As an alternative to get the PC to boot with the preferred HD i have to go to the BIOS settings every time change settings. But my question is why does the f12 menu doesnt work. I have biostar motherboard G37-M7 TE

Hi,

I have a Windows xp machine and a canon pixma mx7600 printer. The problem is that after a paper jam, I started receiving an error code 6A80 on screen and a directive to turn off the printer. The print heads are stuck on the right side and not the center. Can you tell me how to solve this error ??

Hi,

I have a hp photosmart f2480 printer. The problem is that after connecting the USB cable to the printer when prompted during installation the Plug and Play installation fails to start. I have even turned off antivirus and firewall. I connect the USB cable to the appropriate time requested. What may be the problem ???? Is that problem related to windows xp ???

I have recently bought a new Dell work station that came with 3 gb ram, an Intel core 2 duo processor, an nvidia graphic card and 1 250 gb Seagate Hard drive. I have also bought an western digital external hard drive for backup and all and it used to work fine. Now a days its drive letters doesnt gets allocated by the OS which wasnt the case before. So basically the drive is recognized but I cant access these drives which is giving me a lot of trouble. So if anyone can advice me how to solve this issue, it would be great.

I am having problem with USB Root Hub and Generic Bluetooth Adapter. I am getting following error message:

USB Suspend:USB Device not Entering Suspend
The USB device did not enter the Suspend state. Processor power management may be prevented if a USB device does not enter the Suspend state when not in use.
I tried various method, but none of them worked out. Can anyone tell me how do I fix USB Suspend:USB Device not Entering Suspend ? Please help me.

I am running the computer with the Windows 7 in which i have installed the Windows XP mode. As i am having the Canon LIDE 80 which is not having the compatibility with the Windows 7 so i have installed the XP mode to run the same. But XP mode only display the hard drive of mine and does not show my scanner. So if anyone can help me with the Non Windows 7 compatible scanner not seen in Windows XP mode then the help may be appreciated. Thank you.

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows 7 operating system installed. I am facing many issues with the desktop in the Windows 7 operating system. The system only boots upto the start up screen and after that nothing comes up. Only the black screen appears. The mouse and the keyboard is also not detected or working. So there is Windows 7 Black Screen, No Mouse Pointer, No response from Keyboard in my desktop.

Why are mechanical keyboard so expensive?? Here in India, as far as i know, only 1 company makes it, TVS. It is more than 3 times the price of other regular multimedia keyboards. TVS Gold is not a multimedia keyboard but very expensive.
